Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

Studio Bookings, Group Events & Private Functions

At The Collective Hervey Bay, we understand that plans can change. However, due to the nature of our small-group events and limited seating, all cancellations are subject to the following policy:

Individual Bookings & Small Groups (1–2 people)
  • More than 7 days notice:
    You may reschedule your booking free of charge.
  • 24 to 7 days notice:
    A $25 rescheduling fee applies. The remaining balance will be issued as a credit voucher, valid for 6 months(non-extendable).
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance:
    No refunds or reschedules will be offered due to limited seating.
  • Second reschedule request:
    We are unable to offer further reschedules. You are welcome to transfer your booking to another person (see Ticket Transfers section below).

Group Bookings (3 or more participants in public events)
  • Less than 1 month’s notice:
    A $25 per person rescheduling feeapplies. The remaining balance will be issued as a credit voucher, valid for 6 months.
  • Less than 72 hours’ notice or non-attendance:
    No refunds or reschedules will be offered. You may transfer your tickets to another person.

Private Events, Mobile Pop-Ups, Team Building & Fundraising
  • Deposit:
    A $250 non-refundable depositapplies to all private bookings. A minimum of 10 seats (or full payment) is required to secure your date. Dates are not held without payment.
  • Final Payment:
    Due no later than 14 business days prior to your event.
  • Cancellation more than 1 month before event:
    The $250 deposit is forfeited, but the remainder may be refunded or credited.
  • Cancellation within 1 month of event:
    No refund will be provided due to limited ability to rebook the date.

Children’s Parties
  • Deposit:
    A $150 non-refundable deposit applies to all children's party bookings.
  • More than 1 month’s notice:
    You may reschedule free of charge.
  • 1 month to 1 week prior:
    You will forfeit the $150 deposit, with a credit voucher issued for the balance.
  • Less than 1 week’s notice or second-time cancellation:
    The entire booking is forfeited. You may transfer the booking to another guest if needed.
Government-Imposed Lockdowns

If your event is cancelled due to government-imposed restrictions, The Collective Hervey Bay will offer a penalty-free reschedule.
Refunds are not available in these circumstances.


Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend your scheduled event:
  • You are welcome to on-sell or transferyour ticket or deposit to another person.

  • Please do not post comments on our social media attempting to sell tickets. These will be removed to protect our community from scammers.

  • To officially transfer your booking, please email hello@thecollectivehb.com.au with the following details:
    • Original booking name
    • Order number
    • Mobile number
    • New ticket holder’s full name, mobile number, and email address


Once received, we will complete the transfer and confirm with both parties.
